1. Your hosting (the internet server that stores your files, and is connected to the internet full time)

   2. Most hosting companies, such as XO, Verio, and Hurrican Electric are $24 per month for simple plans, and $49 / month for database support, or shopping cart support. We will happily work with your current plan if you wish.

Yes, however counters are not necessary, because they only count hits, and hits don’t tell the whole story. Hits are just mouse clicks, not visitors. We have “live” stats, which means that you can check your server logs any time you want, and see how many visitors have been to your site. Server logs are more complex, they tell where the visitors came from, how they found your site, what pages they viewed, and for how long. You can also tell what key words visitors used to find your site. Live stats can be viewed online at any time. You won’t need any special software to view your server logs. It’s called “live” because it will also show who’s on your site now.

No, Our SSL folder is free for you to use. Most servers charge more for this feature, but we don’t.

The term “dynamic’ refers to sites where some of the information on the pages is published from a database on the web server. This means that you or one of your employees can add information or update some of the sites content, saving you money on maintenance. Instructions will be provided to help you with this.

The server side code produces standard html based on the visitor’s requests for information. From a browser, it’s almost impossible to tell the difference between static and dynamic pages. Our site is largely dynamic.
